The State Journal Register (Illinois) posted an article on Feb. 8 reporting that the state program that pays for court reporters faces a $14.3 million budget shortfall for the current fiscal year, which ends June 30, and that the program is on pace to run out of money at the end of March. The article quotes a spokesperson saying that Gov. Bruce Rauner is working with lawmakers to find a budgetary solution.
