The Gazette, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, reported on Oct. 28 that the state’s Middle School Mock Trial regional competition, featuring volunteer court reporters, was held recently at the Linn County Courthouse for the first time since a 2008 flood. The competition is the largest of its kind in the nation.
