NCRA President Meadors on NCRF Natural Disaster Relief Fund: Members helping members

On behalf of your NCRA Board of Directors, the NCRF Trustees, and the NCRA staff, we want everyone affected by the recent storms and flooding in California to know that you and your families are in our thoughts and prayers as you work through these trying times to recover and rebuild.

In the wake of the devastation caused by the latest storms and flooding, NCRA wants you to know we are here for you. The mass destruction and cleanup will undoubtedly take months or even years to address. During this time, please keep in mind that the National Court Reporters Foundation (NCRF) Natural Disaster Relief Fund is available to help members suffering from the effects of these events. If you are in need of short-term assistance due to this natural disaster, apply through the Natural Disaster Relief Fund.

We also encourage members who wish to help to consider donating to the Natural Disaster Relief Fund through NCRF’s MobileCause app. Your generosity helps to ensure that funding remains available to assist NCRA members who are suffering from the effects of natural disasters. Each donation you make to help our professional family members plays a vital role in helping your affected colleagues reconstruct their lives. To give to this important cause and help our fellow NCRA members, donate online or text the keyword reliefhelp to 41444. All donations are tax-deductible.

Additionally, to help ensure that member services are not interrupted during this difficult time, NCRA will offer flexible financing for dues and extensions on CEU requirements needed by those immediately affected.

Members needing assistance can also reach out directly to NCRA by emailing membership@ncra.org or calling 800-272-6272.

Our collective hearts go out to all our colleagues suffering from these events. We are here to help and support you in this time of need.
