NCRF: Take pride in your contributions

Marjorie Peters

By Marjorie Peters

Thankfulness strengthens relationships. We at the National Court Reporters Foundation are thankful for YOU! Hoping your New Year is off to a great start.

Since you are receiving this 2023 Angels Quarterly, we know you are an NCRF donor. We want the relationship with you to be long-lasting, as we need your help to continue to do great work.

Most donations made to NCRF are tax write-offs. (Our raffles and Vintage Writer fundraiser were not.) But we know that a write-off is not the top motivator for your generosity.

We trust you are generous since you support the NCRF mission to elevate the court reporting, captioning, scoping, and legal videography communities, and sustain our outreach programs. Because of your involvement, NCRF is able to foster the career development of others. We hope our mission brings you pride and satisfaction.

I specifically want to thank our Trustees and Angel Gatherers Committee members, as these leaders work year-round to help the Foundation promote our programs, sustain our Angel donors, and engage new donors. They are our dedicated front line to make NCRF a place for social connections, whether it is on social media or at the NCRF Angels Thank You luncheon at NCRA Conferences.

Please take a few minutes to read about our NCRF achievements, as this newsletter provides you with a snapshot of our work. Thank you for being part of our NCRF family and community.

YOU are the reason we achieve all this. Take great pride in your contributions for this great effort to help others.

I am always available to listen to your ideas. No idea is too small. Email me at ncrfoundation@ncra.org. Stay well and thrive. Know that you are appreciated.

Respectfully,

Marjorie Peters, NCRF Chair, FAPR, RMR, CRR
