The National Court Reporters Association Government Relations Department (NCRAGR) has announced the launch of NCRAGRadar, a new online portal designed to empower members in the legislative advocacy process.
This innovative platform enables NCRA members to submit and flag legislation, executive orders, and regulatory measures they believe warrant review or could impact the court reporting and captioning professions. By creating a direct channel between members and the Government Relations team, NCRAGRadar ensures that critical legislative developments at federal, state, and local levels don’t go unnoticed.
Access to the portal requires a valid NCRA membership ID number, ensuring the platform remains a valuable member benefit while maintaining security. The user-friendly interface includes dedicated fields for essential information such as bill numbers and legislative summaries. Members can also attach supporting documents directly to their submissions, including full text of proposed legislation, executive orders, committee reports, or related materials.
This streamlined approach allows the NCRAGR team to efficiently evaluate member submissions and take appropriate action, whether that means monitoring developments, mobilizing advocacy efforts, or providing timely updates to the membership about legislation that could affect their livelihoods and professional standards.
