We’re just days away from the start of our special registration presale for the 2026 NCRA Conference & Expo! From April 1-8 only, save $100 off your Conference registration rate for the event in Bellevue, Wash., happening July 16-18. The presale is also your best opportunity to guarantee your seat at a special viewing of the docu-comedy, “Rebel with a Clause,” which features this year’s Keynote Speaker, Ellen Jovin, author and founder of the popular “Grammar Table.”
One day in 2018 Jovin set up a folding table and chair on a Manhattan sidewalk to field grammar questions from everyday New Yorkers. According to Jovin, people starting stopping by almost instantly to share their stories and ask their questions. Before long she had developed a devoted social media following. Then, as her website puts it, “what happened next is the stuff of grammar legend.”
Together with her filmmaker husband, Brandt Johnson, Jovin set out to visit all 50 states to take questions from everyday Americans. The film features people from all walks of life who visit Jovin’s table to settle disputes, talk about their “grammar insecurities,” and find common bonds with our neighbors so we can all get along.
We are pleased to offer this special viewing as part of our Friday evening event during the Conference. Your ticket also gives you access to a wine and cheese reception following the movie. So bring your most frustrating grammar questions and get ready for a great time! Seating is limited so get your ticket early to save your seat.
You can purchase a ticket for the film when you register: $15 for members and $30 for nonmembers. You may also opt to buy a ticket for just the film viewing.
Go to www.ncra.org/conference for more information about the April 1-8 presale, Ellen Jovin, the schedule at a glance, and much more.
We’ll see you in Washington!
