WDAM-TV news reported on March 30 that SB 2378, an act to amend the Mississippi state code of 1972 increasing the page rate from $2.40 per page to $4.00 per page for officials, has been approved and is now headed to the governor’s desk. Mississippi has recently enacted aggressive reforms benefiting court reporters thanks to their state association’s leadership.
