JCR | How did you hear about court reporting?
CI | A reporter came to our high school during a career fair — and the rest is history. I was in LOVE with the paper, purple ink, and the outlines.
JCR | Why did you want to serve on the Board?
CI | I had served on my state board for several years, attended Boot Camp and Leadership Conference, and I just had the bug. I also saw the importance of having good leaders, strong leaders who can and are willing to be at the helm of our national association.
JCR | What’s one thing that people probably don’t already know about you?
CI | I grew up on a farm and I showed sheep in 4-H. After we paid my dad back for the lamb and all expenses, then I could use the rest on any extracurricular activities or “nice” clothes that I wanted.
