An article posted by the Newton Daily News on March 21 reported that Rachel Ellefson, RPR, Mason City, Iowa, spoke to students at the Des Moines Area Community College Newton Campus court reporting program, her alma mater, about why she chose court reporting after earning a four-year degree in another field.
