In loving memory of Kim Dore-Hackbarth, a talented and dedicated realtime reporter at Buell Realtime Reporting for more than thirty years who passed away in 2025, we are proud to announce the Kim Dore-Hackbarth Memorial Student Intern Scholarship. Beginning in 2026, the National Court Reporters Foundation will award this scholarship annually to two students who demonstrate exceptional skill, writing at a minimum of 170 words per minute. Each recipient will receive $2,000 to support their continued education and advancement in the field.
Buell Realtime Reporting has pledged $20,000 to fund this scholarship during the coming years. All tax-deductible contributions to this NCRF fundraiser will be used exclusively to honor Kim’s legacy and support aspiring court reporters and captioners through this dedicated scholarship.
