Unlocking Your Benefits: Support student programs and schools

This month we focus on how your membership can help foster and grow the profession. Your NCRA membership offers more than a career credential — it gives you access to a community of professionals dedicated to shaping the future of court reporting, captioning, and legal videography. One of the most meaningful benefits of membership is the opportunity to give back by supporting students and schools. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, NCRA offers several ways for you to lift up and foster the next generation of professionals in the field.

As you grow in your career, helping others get their start can be incredibly rewarding. Supporting students not only strengthens the profession but also ensures that future reporters and captioners are well-prepared to meet the demands of the field. And if you’re a student reading this — we hope you familiarize yourself with these! They were designed with you in mind.
