For Angela Tintori, RDR, CRR, an official from Lincoln, Neb., investing in her professional development has always made NCRA membership an easy decision. This year, the opportunity to win exciting prizes made early renewal a no-brainer. We’re pleased to announce Tintori as the September 2025 renewal winner, earning a $300 Amazon gift card. Below, she shares her thoughts on NCRA membership and how she discovered her passion for court reporting.
JCR | How did you learn about a career in court reporting?
AT | While attending high school, my forte was English, typing, and written shorthand classes. My dad worked with someone whose daughter was a court reporter, and it seemed like that might be a good fit for me. I was able to job-shadow her and was instantly hooked. I’ve loved this awesome career for 36 years!
JCR | What does NCRA membership mean to you?
AT | My NCRA membership has always been important to me as it has provided access to personal development through certifications and some of the best continuing education. The national seminars are so much fun — education and networking! NCRA advocates for court reporters with a collective voice on the national and state levels. This has been and will continue to be an asset. Thank you to NCRA Executive Director Dave Wenhold and staff.
JCR | Why did you renew early this year?
AT | Early renewal was an easy decision. A chance to win some exciting prizes? Yes, I’m all in. And what a great surprise!
