Start spreading the news

Join NCRA in getting the word out to the media about the good work stenographic court reporters and captioners do as the kickoff of 2026 Court Reporting & Captioning Week being celebrated Feb. 7-14 draws near. Visit the CR&CWeek resource page and download one or all of the fillable press release or media templates now and remind your local media outlets about the week-long celebration. Reaching out now to the media not only reminds them of the upcoming week, but also provides them with time to plan stories that showcase the professions, whether it’s an interview with a local court reporter or, in the case of television media, to shine a light on the captioners who serve their viewers.

Press releases and media advisories available for downloading and customization include:

Use these social media tips as a guide to help you should you want to reach out to your local media outlets via their social media platforms.
