The National Court Reporters Foundation (NCRF) is proud to announce the four inaugural recipients of the NCRF AHRE Shine Student Scholarship. Each recipient will receive a $1,000 scholarship to support their continued education and journey toward a career in court reporting, funded by a donation from Allie M. Hall, RDR, CRR, CRI, founder of the Allison Hall Reporting Education (AHRE) school.
Hall, an NCRF Angel, created her court reporting school to help students succeed and to mentor them as they pursue their stenographic court reporting careers. The scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate academic achievement, professional qualities, commitment to their training, and the determination to succeed in this profession.
Hall said she was proud to recognize these students and encouraged them to continue pursuing excellence in their steno careers.
“I am a big proponent of giving back and lifting up the future generation of court reporters. I am so proud of the students who have been awarded my new NCRF Shine Scholarship. Thank you to all of the students who took the time to apply for my scholarship. I hope each of you continues to shine throughout your steno journey,” said Hall.
“We are deeply grateful to Allie Hall for her generosity and commitment to students,” said NCRF Chair Meredith Bonn, RPR, CRR. “These scholarships are more than financial support — they are an investment in the future of our profession. We are thrilled to recognize these four outstanding students and cheer them on as they begin their careers.”
The 2026 AHRE Shine Student Scholarship recipients are Kaili Tseng of McKinney, Texas; Sabrina Crivellone of Brooklyn, N.Y.; Kaly Stormer of Citrus Heights, Calif.; and Janie Pugh of Corpus Christi, Texas.

Crivellone said she was honored to be among the inaugural recipients and excited about the future that awaits her and her fellow scholarship recipients.

I am so eager to join this field as a working reporter and your donation has helped me get closer to achieving that dream. Thank you for all that you do for both students and the profession,” said Stormer.
Janie Pugh — Corpus Christi, Texas
Pugh expressed her appreciation for the scholarship and for Hall’s continued encouragement and support of her students, saying the award brings her one step closer to achieving her goal of becoming a court reporter.
“I am truly honored and incredibly grateful to have been selected for this scholarship. Thank you to Allie Hall and the National Court Reporters Foundation for believing in me and investing in my future. Allie, thank you for the way you continually pour into your students with your encouragement, knowledge, and unwavering support, it truly makes a difference,” Pugh said. “This scholarship brings me one step closer to my dream of becoming a court reporter, and I am so thankful for this opportunity and your generosity.”
NCRF congratulates Tseng, Crivellone, Stormer, and Pugh on their selections as the inaugural AHRE Shine Student Scholarship recipients and looks forward to following their progress as they continue their court reporting education.
The AHRE Shine Student Scholarship provides four $1,000 awards and is available to current NCRA student members enrolled in a stenographic court reporting program who meet the award’s eligibility requirements. Allison Hall Reporting Education sponsors the long-term annual scholarship. Applications for next year’s award will be available early in 2027.
