It is an honor to begin my term as Chair of the National Court Reporters Foundation, and I’m excited to share my first NCRF Voices of Giving with you. I’m grateful to our Immediate Past Chair Doug Friend. FAPR, RDR, CRR (Ret.), for his leadership and to our Trustees, volunteers, donors, and supporters who continue to make the Foundation’s work possible. As I step into this role, I’m reminded that NCRF is at its strongest when we come together to support one another and invest in the future of our profession.
This Voices of Giving issue highlights just how broad the Foundation’s impact can be. From Ask Me Anything ZoomUps and Peer to Peer Support sessions to scholarships, grants, student initiatives, and opportunities to leave a lasting legacy, NCRF is creating pathways for people at every stage of their professional journey. We’re also celebrating the service and leadership of members of our community, sharing resources that help us advocate for our profession, and looking ahead to new opportunities to connect, learn, and grow.
At the heart of all of this is you. Every donation, volunteer effort, scholarship, grant, and act of support helps strengthen our profession and open doors for others. I invite you to explore this quarter’s Voices of Giving, celebrate the people and programs your generosity makes possible, and consider where you would most like to make a difference.
