Al-Qaida terrorist reconvicted due to lack of court stenographer present at original verdict

A March 6 article that appeared in the New York Daily News reported that al-Qaida terrorist Abid Naseer has been convicted a second time in Brooklyn Federal Court two days after it was discovered that no stenographer was present when his verdict was taken. The judge in the case said the lack of a court reporter was his “inadvertence.”
