NCRA recently exhibited at the American Bar Association’s annual Techshow Conference and Expo in Chicago. Volunteer NCRA members spent the two-day event working a booth where they offered attendees demonstrations of realtime technology, information about NCRA and its benefits, and the importance of court reporters in ensuring history is preserved. The effort was part of NCRA’s National Outreach Committee, a group charged with increasing public awareness of the court reporting profession
and the need for more court reporting students.
NCRA volunteers who staffed this year’s booth included: Stephanie Battaglia, RMR, CRR, Hinsdale, Ill.; Nancy Bistany, RPR, Morton Grove, Ill.; Kathie Grove, RPR, CRR, CLVS, Wheaton, Ill.; LeAnn Hibler, RMR, CRR, CCP, Joliet, Ill.; Melanie Humphrey-Sonntag, RDR, CRR, CCP, St. Charles, Ill.; Cathy Rajcan, RDR, CRR, CBC, CCP, Wheaton, Ill.; Sandi Rocca, RMR, CRR, Hinsdale, Ill.; and Donna Urlaub, RMR, CRR, Chicago, Ill.
