The Hon. Robert Birnbaum and his court reporter, David Lutzke, of Olmsted County District Court both retired June 19, according to the July 8 PostBulletin.com based in Rochester, Minn. While Birnbaum plans to serve as a standing judge for the next two years, Lutzke says that he will be producing transcripts for the next few months.
