As I write this, today marks two weeks that we have returned from the #NCRA21 Conference in Las Vegas. The energy that I felt during the 2021 NCRA Conference & Expo in Las Vegas regarding our National Court Reporters Foundation was just off the charts and frankly off the hook. There was an electric feeling in the air of giving back.
I wanted to extend a special thank you and shout-out to all on my Angel Gatherers Committee for all their help and enthusiasm at the conference to spread the word about our NCRF. Sandy Narup, RPR, and Linda McSwain, RPR, were helping Foundation Manager Jill Landsman at the booth signing up new Angels, and they were all snapping pictures of our new Angels with Angel wings.
We signed up 20 plus new NCRF Angels during Conference! What a blessing it is to see stenographers from all over the country stepping up to give back a little bit to a profession that I know has been so kind to me over the last almost 30 years. My heart is extremely full right now with all the support from all our fellow stenographers in this thing of ours we call court reporting/stenography.
Thank you to all on the Committee and thank you to all current as well as new NCRF Angels! You are appreciated. These outreach programs, scholarships, and grants will make you proud! Lastly, all current Angels will be eligible to be in a drawing in September for a Mexico getaway. Thank you to longtime NCRF Angel Denise Paternoster (Ret.) who donates this getaway in memory of her beloved husband Frank Paternoster. We appreciate the Paternosters for their generosity and support.
