Get a head start on your CEUs and register for NCRA’s first webinar of the year, ASL Interpreting in the Courtroom, on Jan. 18. ASL interpreters Melanie DeLeon and Lydia Pickard will share their experiences working alongside court reporters and captioners in the courtroom. “We are so thrilled to be asked to share about our work,” says DeLeon. “ASL interpreters work alongside CART captioners and court reporters so often, and I am excited to start collaborating more!”
Next up, on Feb. 1 digital media expert and television host Melanie Mendez-Gonzalez presents Branding Yourself on Social Media. Mendez-Gonzalez, who has worked with such Fortune 500 companies as Walmart, Toyota, and Disneyland, will show you how to use social media to build your personal and professional brand, create valuable content for the stenography industry, and increase your engagement with audiences who may be interested in court reporting as a career.

NCRA values education for all its members, and that includes our students. In an effort to make NCRA’s vast Learning Center library more affordable, we are happy to announce new deeply discounted prices available on all webinars for student members ($20-$40). As an added benefit, student members are now able to participate in free webinars that are open to the general membership (i.e., Town Halls, mental health webinars, Board meetings, etc.).
Webinars do not have to be viewed live. The Learning Center gives 30 days from the live event to complete all required elements unless otherwise noted.
