On Jan. 23, Law.com posted an interview with newly appointed Assembly Judiciary Chair Brian Maienschein from California, in which he says, “We need to make sure that the role of court reporters is reassured. They do vital work, and we want to make sure that there are reliable, well-paying court reporter jobs and the court reports are accurate.”
