NCRF Student Intern Scholarship closes Dec. 8

Nominations are still being accepted for the NCRF Student Intern Scholarship. Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to high-achieving court reporting or captioning students who have completed the internship portion of their education. Applicants are nominated by their school and must fulfill scholarship requirements including writing a short essay.

Eligibility requirements include current NCRA student membership, speed test requirements, and a minimum 3.5 GPA. Judicial, CART, and captioning students are encouraged to apply. This year’s essay topic is “Explain how your passion grew to become a court reporter/captioner. What headwinds do you think that stenographic court reporters and captioners will face in an ever-changing technological world?”
