A series of videos submitted by NCRA members is being compiled to highlight the diversity of the Association and the career fields of court reporting, professional captioning, and legal videography. When asked what inspired this ongoing effort, NCRA DE&I Committee Chair Geanell Adams, RMR, CRR, CRC, CRI, a professional captioner from Mississippi, stated: “Seeing people who identify with other members gives one a sense of community and belonging within the Association.”
“Having NCRA members with varied personal backgrounds introduce themselves through visual imagery to the rest of the membership and potential members as well as future students helps build volunteerism in the Association and recruit new members and future reporters,” Adams added.
