We’re excited to announce that the Career Launcher Reviewer option is back up and running. In today’s professional landscape, with fewer local firms available to mentor new reporters, the guidance and feedback this program offers is invaluable. It will support our students and new professionals by guiding them through the complex intricacies of producing a quality transcript as well as exposing them to countless scenarios that would take decades of deposition experience to learn personally.
The NCRF Career Launcher program features 10 video mock deposition modules, giving participants access to the more than 150 years of combined experience of the Career Launcher team. Whether you’re a student, new professional, or seasoned reporter looking to enter the deposition market, this program is designed to meet you where you are and show you the path forward.
Students and new professionals can choose between two tracks:
Student Career Launcher with REVIEWER
Exclusively for students who complete modules and upload transcripts for review by court reporters. Students advance to the next module after receiving feedback.

Student Nonmember: $175
Student Career Launcher SELF-GRADE
Students complete self-paced modules and upload transcripts. Transcripts undergo verification before answer keys are provided for self-checking.

Seasoned reporters can support this program and earn PDCs by volunteering to review a minimum of 10 transcripts submitted by Career Launcher candidates and help mentor these new professionals. This is a critical element, setting our new professionals up for success with knowledge and experience before they enter the complex world of court reporting. Career Launcher for Court Reporters (CEU)
Designed for new and experienced court reporters seeking practical knowledge of deposition scenarios. Participants submit transcripts, review their work, and complete brief quizzes to earn CEUs.

Career Launcher for Court Reporters (AUDIT)
Designed for new and experienced court reporters seeking practical knowledge of deposition scenarios without earning CEUs. Participants access materials without completing assignments.
CEUs: None

(Program participants have 180 days, or six months, to complete the program from the day of purchase/registration.)
“With these new options, the customer gets to pick which one suits them best,” said Cynthia R. Bruce, M.S. Ed, NCRA Vice President of Education & Certification. “As this program continues to grow in popularity, we want to provide those interested in taking the program to have choices as to how they want to complete it,” she added.
Court reporting schools, state associations, and firm owners also have the option to purchase a subscription to the Career Launcher program to use on an annual basis for $495 a year. Subscription programs offer the same content as the program hosted by NCRA but are administered by our partners.
