During last month’s Ask Me Anything About How I Graduated ZoomUp, hosted by the National Court Reporters Foundation (NCRF), panelists agreed that focus, determination, and persistence are the keys to crossing the finish line in court reporting school.
Organized by the NCRF Ask Me Anything Task Force, the event explored the most critical question facing students today: What’s going to push me over the finish line? Panelists included Kensie Benoit; Erin Blair, RPR; Allie Hall, RDR, CRR, CRI; and Erica R. Wofford, RPR. The moderator was NCRF Chair-Elect Meredith Bonn, RPR, CRR, who is also the AMA Task Force Chair.
Panelists shared that students should focus on milestones, reminding them that perfection isn’t the only measure of success. Each achievement, such as hitting a new writing speed, is an important step toward reaching their ultimate goal.
