Scholarship season is ending: Last chance to apply for four NCRF Student Internship Scholarships worth $2,000 each

The National Court Reporters Foundation (NCRF) Student Intern Scholarship offers four $2,000 awards for high-achieving court reporting or captioning students who have completed the internship portion of their education. Applicants are nominated by their school and must fulfill scholarship requirements including writing a short essay. The deadline to apply is Dec. 5

  • Current NCRA student membership
  • Completion of an internship program within the last 12 months
  • Speed test requirements met
  • Minimum 3.5 GPA
  • Letter of recommendation
  • Short essay response to the following question (400 words): The court reporting and captioning professions are evolving rapidly. What innovations, strategies, or personal approaches will help you thrive in a changing environment? Explain how these will support your growth, professional involvement, and long-term success.
  • *All documents must be saved with the applicant’s name and nature of contents: e.g. Johnson.Letter.of.Recommendation

The 2024 NCRF Student Intern Scholarship winners were Gillian Hassert, a student at Alfred State College; Natasha Sandoval, a student at Taft College; Liane Hatch, a student at College of Court Reporting; and Danielle Magnicarri, a student at Plaza College.
