We’ll also discuss at length how this singular experience can help you become an advocate who makes a lasting impact on the profession.
The NCRA Leadership & Legislative Boot Camp is scheduled for March 1-3, 2026, in Alexandria, Va., and Washington, D.C., and offers members advocacy training and educational sessions so they can engage effectively with Capitol Hill legislators about important NCRA priorities.

- Expectations for learning and what you’ll do during Boot Camp
- Preparing for legislator meetings
- A “day in the life” of a Boot Camp attendee
- Defining pressing issues for our field and how Boot Camp can help address them
- Advocacy skills you’ll obtain
- Whether you need experience to participate (hint: you don’t!)
