Watch the Recording: Ask Me Anything about the NCRA Virtual Mentor Program

If you’ve ever considered giving back to the court reporting and captioning community by becoming a mentor, this Ask Me Anything (AMA) ZoomUp recording of last month’s event is a must-watch.

The interactive session offered an informative and engaging look at how the NCRA Virtual Mentor Program truly works. The conversation, which was moderated by NCRF Chair-Elect and Ask Me Anything Task Force Chair Meredith Bonn, RPR, CRR, provided practical answers and insights for anyone interested in volunteering.

Whether you are a working professional curious about guiding the next generation, or a student wondering what mentoring looks like from the other side, this AMA gave an honest, practical overview. Attendees learned how easy it is to make a lasting difference, without a large time commitment, and were inspired by stories and ideas from experienced mentors.

NCRA Professional Development Program Manager Cynthia Ducar shared that after the ZoomUp, 10 members signed up to serve as mentors.

The session featured the following panelists:

  • Chris DeGrazio
  • Cynthia Ducar, NCRA Professional Development Program Manager
