Nominations now open for the 2026 NCRF Student Intern Scholarship – four $2,000 awards!

The National Court Reporters Foundation (NCRF) is accepting nominations for its 2026 Student Intern Scholarship, recognizing high-achieving court reporting and captioning students who have completed an internship and are preparing to take the next step in their professional careers. Four students will receive a $2,000 award to help ease the costs of launching their careers.

The scholarship is open to students pursuing judicial court reporting, CART, or captioning.

By supporting students at this pivotal stage of their education, NCRF helps ensure that financial challenges do not stand between aspiring professionals and the tools, training, and experience they need to succeed.

“An internship is a meaningful milestone in a student’s journey because it offers the opportunity to experience the profession firsthand and begin to see themselves as a working professional,” said NCRF Chair Meredith A. Bonn, RPR, CRR. “The Student Intern Scholarship recognizes the dedication and commitment it takes to reach this major step while providing meaningful support to deserving NCRA student members. NCRF is proud to invest in these future court reporters and captioners and to help them build a solid foundation for successful careers.”

The deadline to apply is Friday, Dec. 4.
