We are pleased to announce an extension to the NCRA Council on Approved Student Education (CASE) Student Scholarship. Interested candidates now have until Oct. 16 to apply for one of our most popular scholarships.
Students from NCRA-approved court reporting education programs are encouraged to apply for one of five CASE Student Scholarships.
The top prize of $1,500 is the Sue Shelton White Scholarship named in honor of Sue Shelton White. Four additional scholarships are available in the amounts of $250, $500, $750, and $1,000.
For many, the CASE Student Scholarships can be an important lifeline. Hear from one of our 2026 recipients, Taylor Elstrom, who shared how pivotal it was to staying in school.
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Currently be attending an NCRA-approved court reporting program;
- Maintain an exemplary academic record;
- Have passed one skills test writing 160 wpm or greater at the time of submission; and
- Submit an essay on a topic chosen by CASE.
