Be the lucky winner of a new Luminex at the 2021 NCRA Conference & Expo

2021 NCRA Conference & Expo NCRF pin

Attendees at the 2021 NCRA Conference & Expo can take a chance – or many chances – at winning a new Luminex II writer, valued at more than $5,000 and donated by Stenograph, in a raffle sponsored by the National Court Reporters Foundation. Raffle tickets may be purchased prior to attending the Conference, happening July 29-Aug. 1 at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, as the winner does not need to be present to win.

Raffle tickets are $50 each or three for $125 and can be purchased at the NCRF booth on the Expo floor. Members can also purchase tickets here or by texting to 41444 the keyword word lumi2021 (lower case with no spaces). The drawing will happen Saturday, July 31, at the Member Recognition Gala.

“Thank you to our leaders at Stenograph for allowing the National Court Reporters Foundation to host a raffle fundraiser for a new Luminex II,” says NCRF Board of Trustees Chair Early Langley, RMR, a freelance court reporter from Danville, Calif. “This NCRF fundraiser allows us to help position the court reporting and captioning professions for the future by providing annual scholarships, grants, and awards. We are grateful for this fundraiser, which helps us deliver on our mission.”

NCRF is also raffling off a high-end Gucci wallet in a Clutch for a Cause fundraiser to help support its programs. The wallet was donated by Langley. Raffle tickets are $25 each or three for $50 and can be purchased at the NCRF booth on the Expo floor. Members can also purchase tickets here or by texting to 41444 the keyword clutch (lowercase). The drawing will happen Saturday, July 31, at the Member Recognition Gala. The winner need not be present to win.

2021 commemorative pin and more

While visiting the NCRF booth, Conference attendees can also learn how they can help the Association’s philanthropic arm do more through the many programs, scholarships, and grants it offers. 2021 commemorative Conference pins will be available for purchase for $10 at the NCRF booth.

Visitors can also become NCRF Angels with a monthly, quarterly, or annual donation that totals $1,000 or more to support the Foundation’s Angel drive. The donation provides a great 2021 tax write-off and a myriad of benefits, including a listing on the Angels poster at the booth, an invitation to attend the exclusive VIP Luncheon next year in Orlando, Fla., and the benefit of knowing that each donation helps the NCRF advance its philanthropic programs. Current Angel donors will be attending the NCRF VIP luncheon at a Planet Hollywood restaurant on Friday, July 30. While this event is by invitation only, Angel donors are permitted to bring a guest for a modest fee.
