Be sure to mark your calendars and register now for the first virtual Town Hall of 2023 with President Jason T. Meadors, FAPR, RPR, CRR, CRC, scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 21, at 11 a.m. Eastern. Thanks to NCRA member Kim Falgiani, RDR, CRR, CRC, of Warren, Ohio, who will be captioning this event.
President Meadors will be joined by Lisa Dennison, the NCRA A to Z® Program Coordinator. Dennison joined NCRA in 2022 and has been working to help promote the program. She also serves as staff liaison to the NCRA A to Z Committee, which acts as a primary resource to implement the program. The Committee is charged with supporting staff efforts to introduce the program to state affiliates and to support local volunteer facilitators with the program.
Dennison will provide an update on how the program is attracting new participants and its success in encouraging those who have completed it to enroll in court reporting school. She will also provide an update on new initiatives to help promote the program.
Joining the discussion will be NCRA Past President Max Curry, RPR, CRI, a firm owner from Smyrna, Tenn., and Chair of the A to Z Committee. President Meadors will discuss the upcoming 2023 Court Reporting & Captioning Week celebration happening Feb. 4-11, the Leadership and Legislative Boot Camp happening Feb. 26-28, as well as other topics.
