Let’s go to Louisville! Registration for 2024 NCRA Conference & Expo open now

Register now for the 2024 NCRA Conference & Expo taking place Aug 1-3 at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville, Ky. Register by May 15 to take advantage of Early Bird pricing. As the largest gathering of court reporters, captioners, and legal videography professionals, the NCRA Conference & Expo is the place to fast-track your skills to success, reconnect with friends and colleagues, and celebrate 125 years of NCRA history.

“I’m very grateful for the connections I’ve made at NCRA Conferences,” says Christopher Reho, RPR, a freelancer from Cypress, Texas. “Meeting and sharing ideas with passionate people from across the country helps me think outside the box. And on a personal level, being in the same room with such talented people motivates me to improve my skills and be a better reporter.”

Schedule and networking events

A detailed day-by-day schedule of educational sessions, networking events, training workshops, and more is posted on the Conference schedule page. The Conference offers something for everyone from novices like students and professionals who have just started their careers to more seasoned professionals who want to stay abreast of the latest trends in the professions, gain valuable takeaways from educational sessions, and network with others.

This year, educational sessions will be offered from Thursday afternoon through Saturday, with in-person Skills Testing available on Sunday, Aug. 4. In addition, NCRA will again host a Firm Owners Focus on Thursday. Special sessions include Dictionary Jumpstart, Vendor Training Workshops, Captioning and Realtime Boot Camps, and, of course, the National Speed and Realtime Contests. Watch the JCR and the JCR Weekly for more details.

Friday: Keynote

Dan Meers

NCRA is pleased to announce that Dan Meers — perhaps better known as KC Wolf, the mascot for the Kansas City Chiefs, 2024 Super Bowl Champions — will be the speaker for the Premier Session. Meers is a motivational speaker who shares his passion for life, which covers the good; the bad; and the scary, the last being a 2013 stunt that went wrong when he plummeted 75 feet before crashing into the stadium seats. After nine days in the hospital, he was released to begin a long road to recovery.
