Wine lovers will love the latest prize added to our list of raffle giveaways at the 2025 NCRA Conference & Expo. This year the National Court Reporters Foundation (NCRF) Angels Gatherers Committee has cooked up a Minneapolis-themed Purple Reign Gift Basket inspired by Prince and packed with local spirits to get the crowd buzzing.
“After last year’s Angel Bourbon basket rocked Louisville, we’re turning up the volume in Minneapolis with a Prince-themed Purple Reign raffle — fun, local flair, and all for a great cause,” said NCRF Manager Jill Parker Landsman, lauding the NCRF Angels Gatherers Committee for their fun swag raffle.
The raffle is one of several available to conference-goers who want to support NCRF (and NCRA members) and win fabulous prizes! Plus, you don’t have to wait for the Conference to get your tickets! Raffle tickets are on sale now for the Purple Reign basket, a Stenograph NexGen writer, and a Veronica Beard Croc-Embossed Crest Lock leather handbag. Winners do not need to be present to win.

Purple Reign Gift Basket
Last year’s Bourbon prize raffle raised more than $3,000 to support NCRF’s mission, so our Angels Gatherers are back at it! This time they’ve created the Purple Reign Gift Basket.

The Angels Gatherers Committee members also work year-round to enlist new Angels to sign up for monthly Angel donations (just $84/month) and spread the word about NCRF’s impact on the profession and beyond.
NexGen writer
Help support NCRF programs designed to benefit members of the court reporting and captioning communities. Tickets for the NexGen writer generously donated by Stenograph and valued at more than $5,000 are $50 each, three for $125, or six for $250, and can be purchased online or by texting the keyword NexGen2025 to 41444.
Tickets can also be purchased at the NCRF booth in the Exhibit Hall at the Conference. The winner will be randomly selected by Stenograph representatives during the Membership Recognition Gala on Saturday, July 26.
Clutch for a Cause
NCRF is also holding its Clutch for a Cause fundraiser with an upscale handbag raffled off at the Conference. The Veronica Beard Croc-Embossed Crest Lock bag, valued at approximately $600, was graciously donated by Early Langley, RMR; Tami Keenan, FAPR, RPR, CPE; and NCRF Manager Jill Parker Landsman. This sophisticated black leather handbag features a crest lock closure, a structured handle, and a removable shoulder strap for multiple styling options.

This year we’re calling on NCRA members to purchase raffle tickets and help us raise $10,000 to support NCRA’s efforts to introduce federal legislation studying the potential impact of artificial intelligence on our nation’s judicial system.
State associations have donated one-of-a-kind, state-themed gift baskets, each uniquely crafted and different every year. These baskets are a highlight of the raffle, showcasing the creativity and pride of our members nationwide.
