During last month’s Ask Me Anything ZoomUp, the National Court Reporters Foundation (NCRF) panelists shared information to help first-time attendees feel prepared and confident to attend the NCRA Conference & Expo in Bellevue, Wash., this July 16-18.
The discussion offered a practical look at what to expect, starting with logistics: how to navigate travel between the airport and hotel, what to plan for upon arrival, and how to make the overall experience run smoothly.
Panelists also highlighted the value of exploring the host city, including recommendations for local restaurants and activities.
Networking was a central theme, with panelists encouraging participants to build relationships with fellow attendees through simple, natural interactions throughout the Conference.
Finally, attendees learned how to make the most of the Expo Hall, including opportunities to explore recent technology and purchase equipment at discounted Conference pricing. Panelists also gave a preview of NCRF’s fun annual raffles.
The session reinforced a clear takeaway: With a bit of preparation and a willingness to engage, first-time attendees can turn the NCRA Conference & Expo into a rewarding, educational, and memorable experience.
