45+ Ways to learn, connect, and grow at the 2026 NCRA Conference & Expo

Year after year, members tell us their number one reason for attending the NCRA Conference & Expo is to earn CEUs — followed closely by the opportunity to learn from colleagues and experts in our educational sessions. At this year’s Conference in Bellevue, Wash., July 16–18, you can earn up to 1.425 CEUs, plus additional credits for preconference workshops.

With more than 45 sessions, the schedule is packed with opportunities for every attendee. Whether you want to explore the realities of artificial intelligence, hear from experts in the Washington state judicial system, or dive into the latest in CART and captioning, we have you covered.

Explore the full schedule on our website or read on for a preview of the top sessions in AI, captioning, videography, professional development, and more. (And yes, we’ve mixed in some fun and games along the way!)

Of course, there’s a lot more to the NCRA Conference & Expo than CEUs and learning. There’s plenty of time between sessions to visit our vendors in the Expo Hall, catch up with your colleagues, and make new friends. Our ever-popular PAC basket and NCRF raffles are back, and keep an eye out for fun surprises like corn hole, and a free photo booth. There’s even an an opportunity to get your professional headshots done.

The NCRA Conference is also a wonderful opportunity to meet others who are just like you. No one knows what it’s like to be in the profession better than your fellow reporters, captioners, and videographers.

“Being a freelance court reporter, my interaction with other court reporters is almost nonexistent, therefore attending the NCRA annual Conference as well as state conventions, is vital,” says Elisabeth A. Miller Lorenz, RMR, CRR, from Brentwood, Tenn. “Continuing education is a must — not only from the AMAZING seminars and speakers but also to learn by interacting with and meeting each of you, the professionals in attendance. I feel so encouraged and energized from the friendships as well as the conversations on how to handle real-life situations and everyday occurrences as a court reporter.”
