The NCRA Annual Business Meeting was held on July 16 during the 2026 NCRA Conference & Expo at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue in Bellevue, Wash.
During the meeting:
The new slate of officers was elected. The 2026-2027 slate of officers includes:
- President-Elect Carol Naughton, RDR, an official court reporter from Virginia Beach, Va.;
- Vice President Stacey Potenza, CRC, a broadcast and CART captioner and agency owner from McKinney, Texas; and
- Secretary-Treasurer Kelly Keyes-Linkowski, RPR, CRR, CRC, CRI, CPE, a captioner from Rittman, Ohio.
In addition, two new members of NCRA’s Board of Directors were installed at the Conference & Expo to serve three-year terms: Dr. Geanell Adams, FAPR, RMR, CRR, CRC, CRI, Terry, Miss., and Jeanna Zunker, RPR, CRI, of St. Cloud, Minn.
Returning Directors include:
- RandiAnn Harvey, RDR, CRR, CRC, an official court reporter from Cambridge, Minn.;
- Dana Hayden, RMR, CRR, CRC, a freelance court reporter and agency owner from Fayetteville, Ark.;
- Shellene Iverson, RPR, a court reporter and agency owner from Portland, Ore.; and
- Lynette Mueller, FAPR, RDR, CRR, an agency owner from Memphis, Tenn.
NCRA Executive Director Dave Wenhold, CAE, PLC, presented a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol Building to Immediate Past President Cindy Isaacsen, RPR, an official court reporter from Shawnee, Kan.
- At the meeting, members discussed five proposed bylaw amendments to the Association’s Constitution and Bylaws. Voting was opened after the meeting and will be open for 24 hours. Members received an email with instructions on how to vote.
- At the end of the meeting, Isaacsen handed the gavel to new President Cathy Penniston, M.A., RPR, CRI, a court reporting instructor and broadcast captioner from Waukee, Iowa.
