Gadgets and Grammar: Two new live webinars in the NCRA Learning Center this June

Kristina Tan, a court reporter and authorized Eclipse trainer based in Richmond, Va., invites you into her office to share the tools and strategies that keep her on track.

Are you ready to solve the mystery of the “word crime”? In the third installment of the StenoSpeaks series, veteran short writer Urlaub will share her knowledge on her favorite topic. She will speak about the word crimes she sees committed on a daily basis and how you, too, can stop those word crimes before they start. 

“You know you’re a real trouper, not trooper, right?” says presenter Donna M. Urlaub, FAPR, RDR, CRR, who is in her 57^th year of reporting. “You go to work every day, not everyday. It’s a voting bloc, not a block. The car grille, not grill, was damaged in the crash.” 

Urlaub will walk you through these and countless other examples to help you become a word crime detective too. “This seminar is a real eye-opener for seasoned reporters and students alike,” she adds. “After all, you don’t know what you don’t know.”           

Webinars do not have to be viewed live. The NCRA Learning Center gives 30 days from the live event to complete all required elements unless otherwise noted.
