Room rates for NCRA 2021 Business Summit drop

Did you hear the news? Room rates at the Hyatt Regency Savannah in beautiful and historic Savannah, Ga., the host hotel for the NCRA 2021 Business Summit, have dropped to $175 per night. The NCRA Business Summit is taking place Jan. 29-31 and carries the theme “Rise to the Challenge! Winning Approaches on Adapting to Change.”

Attending the NCRA 2021 Business Summit will not only put you in the front seat for interesting and inspiring sessions that will address doing business successfully in today’s ever-changing environment, but it will also give you the opportunity to experience the many sights and sounds this fabulous city has to offer its guests.

First and foremost, NCRA places a high commitment on the safety of its members attending Association-hosted events no matter what the situation may be. While we are hopeful and planning for the 2021 Business Summit to be held in person, it is important to know that your Association is aware of shifting scenarios and is reviewing on a daily basis the recommendations for changes regarding the health and safety precautions and protocols issued by the Centers for Disease Control and the state of Georgia.

NCRA staff is also in constant contact with the management of the Hyatt Regency Savannah as well to learn more about the small meetings it has been conducting to keep abreast of the measures being followed to keep guests safe.

“I recently visited the Hyatt Regency Savannah and have flown nearly a half-dozen times in the last several weeks, and I can assure you the experience was safe and I am healthy. You just need to stay smart and adhere to the safety precautions the experts issue,” said NCRA Executive Director Dave Wenhold, CAE, PLC.

“It’s been a long time since we’ve been able to meet in person, and I am optimistic about the chance to see each other in Savannah. During my visit to the Hyatt Regency Savannah, I was highly impressed. The dedication by the hotel’s management and staff to the health and safety of its guests was clear as was their adherence to the protocols put in place under Hyatt’s global care and cleanliness commitment,” Wenhold noted.

“Some of the hotel’s safety measures that impressed me the most included ample hand sanitizing stations strategically located around the property, mandatory wearing of masks by staff and guests, meeting rooms set up to ensure social distancing, and limits on the number of people who could use the elevators at one time,” he added.

Registration runs through Jan. 25, 2021. The cost to register is $745 for NCRA members, $845 for nonmembers, $645 for additional attendees from the same firm, and $200 for a spouse/guest attending social functions only.

Please note that the spouse/guest registration category is reserved for a spouse/guest of an attendee who is registered for the conference. Professional reporters and captioners may not register for this category as a guest. Guests are welcome at only the receptions through the spouse/guest package; attendance at the educational sessions requires a full registration.

A special rate of $175 per night is available through Jan. 6, 2021; the rate does not include tax and other fees for single, double, or triple occupancy. The cutoff date for the discounted rates will be Jan. 6, 2021, or until the room block is filled, whichever comes first.

“If you are considering attending the 2021 NCRA Business Summit but are hesitant because of sanitary, safety, or health concerns as a potential guest at the Hyatt Regency Savannah and want to hear more about my experience, please feel free to drop me a line at dwenhold@ncra.org. I look forward to seeing you in January,” Wenhold added.
