CLVS Bylaws amendment sparks Town Hall discussion

Make plans now to join NCRA President Debbie Dibble, RDR, CRR, CRC, for her last Town Hall taking place Saturday, June 25, at 11 a.m. Eastern. This is the fourth and final in a series of members-only Town Halls hosted by Dibble in which she presents updates on the Association. Andrea Kreutz, CLVS, a freelance videographer and agency owner from Des Moines, Iowa, who serves as Chair of NCRA’s CLVS Council, has been added as a special guest to this conclusory Town Hall. Kreutz will be discussing the amendment proposed by the CLVS Council, which asks for greater membership privileges for those holding the NCRA CLVS credential. She will share the perspective prompting this initiative and the rationale behind the proposed amendment and will answer your questions.

Dibble will also be joined by participants in the NCRF Career Launcher program. Dibble, who led the development and launch of the program, and her guests, who are student participants in the program, will discuss how it is impacting their preparation to enter the field and offer valuable insights into its benefits. Additionally, Lori Seiden, RPR, freelance court reporter from Dover, Fla., and a Career Launcher reviewer, will share the fulfillment she feels in and the value she sees in mentoring Career Launcher students.

A fierce competitor herself, Dibble will also be joined by several past National Speed and Realtime contestants, including Amy Doman, RMR, CRR, a freelance court reporter from Carmel, Ind., and Mike Hensley, RDR, a freelance court reporter from Dublin, Calif., to find out what drives them to compete, how they prepare, and more.
