Town Hall: NCRA in Action

You won’t want to miss NCRA President Debbie Dibble’s fourth and final Town Hall as she completes her year serving as President of your Association. This Town Hall will be packed with information on exciting opportunities for our members. Register now to join us on Saturday, June 25 at 11 a.m. Eastern.

If you haven’t heard of Career Launcher, you will want to find out more. This is NCRA and NCRF’s number one tool for getting high-speed students and new professionals into the field at warp speed, ready for high-performance careers. Hear from students participating in the program and Career Launcher Reviewer Lori Seiden, RPR, a freelance court reporter from Dover, Fla., to learn how this awesome curriculum is serving our stenographic reporter community and how you can be a part of it.

If you have ever had that thought cross your mind, “I would love to compete in the Speed Competition,” don’t let that continue to simmer without action. Come hear from two superstar competitors, Amy Doman, RMR, CRR, a freelance court reporter from Carmel, Ind., and Mike Hensley, RDR, a freelance court reporter from Dublin, Calif., and find out how they prepare, practice, “get in the zone,” and then share in their exhilaration of what it feels like to hear their name announced at the Awards Ceremony. Get the information and then make it happen for you. You still have time to sign up for this year’s Speed and Realtime Competitions. But hurry! The contests are limited to 50 participants each, and the deadline to sign up is July 6.

Finally, join us and see our NCRA governance at work. As per our Constitution and Bylaws, a motion has been properly brought by three participating members of NCRA to make CLVS members participating members. This motion will be on the ballot for vote at the upcoming NCRA Annual Business Meeting in Orlando, Fla. A well-informed association makes the best decisions, so please attend this informational segment and hear the rationale behind this motion, ask questions, and be prepared to cast an educated vote on July 20, 2022.

NCRA Town Halls are an opportunity for members to hear updates from the President about the Association and to ask questions via the Q&A feature. Register now to attend this virtual event.

Members must register no later than June 25 at 10 a.m. Eastern to attend.
