Join us for Town Halls for candidates for the Board of Directors — and get ready to vote!

To assist its members in making an informed decision in the upcoming elections, the NCRA Elections Committee will host two Town Halls for candidates for the upcoming 2024 Board of Directors. You can also review their biographies and candidate brochures online.

On June 13 at 8 p.m. Eastern, you can hear from the candidates for the position of Vice President. Register here.

On June 14 at 8 p.m. Eastern, you can hear from the candidates for the position of Director. Register here.

If you have questions for the Elections Committee to ask the candidates, submit them by 11:59 p.m. Sunday, June 11. Use the following in the subject line: Questions for [POSITION] Candidate Town Hall. Email questions to elections@ncra.org.

Both Town Halls are free and open to NCRA members.

Voting takes place June 19.

Voting on candidates for the NCRA Board of Directors will take place starting on June 19, 9 a.m. Eastern, through June 20, 9 a.m. Eastern. Per changes made to the Bylaws in 2018, voting on the Board members must take place at least 30 days before the Conference.

The deadline to verify or update your email address to participate in voting on the Board of Directors is June 15.

Voting Members will cast their votes via secure online means. NCRA Voting Members are Participating Members who are verbatim stenographic reporters and/or stenographic cap­tioners and Registered Members who are verbatim stenographic reporters and/or stenographic cap­tioners as well as Retired Members, and Retired Lifetime Members and Honorary Members who have been verbatim stenographic reporters and/or stenographic captioners.

To exercise the right, members must have a current email address on file in NCRA’s membership database and be opted in to receive emails from NCRA. To verify your email address, visit the member portal at NCRA.org. Click on “Login” at the very top of the website, log in with your NCRA ID and password, then once you see a “Welcome” message, click on “My Profile.” To change your email address, click on “Update My Profile.” If you make changes, please be sure to click “Save Profile Information” near the bottom of the profile page.
