NCRA members invited to attend Thursday’s Annual Business Meeting

All NCRA members are invited to attend the Annual Business Meeting this Thursday, July 16, starting at 8:30 a.m. Pacific. The business meeting of the Association provides each member with the opportunity to observe their elected leaders in action, hear reports and updates on important issues from NCRA leaders, and contribute to vital Association business. During the meeting, members will discuss five proposed amendments to the Constitution and Bylaws. See the full agenda.

Members may attend in person at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue during the NCRA Conference & Expo in Bellevue, Wash., or register to watch a livestream of the event over Zoom.

For those unable to attend or watch live, the meeting will be recorded and made available exclusively to NCRA members in the NCRA Learning Center for a limited time. A PDF of the transcript will also be available on the Annual Business Meeting page.

Registration for the livestream is required and closes at 7:30 a.m. Pacific on July 16.

Voting via secure online means will start within two hours of the close of the Business Meeting and will remain open for 24 hours.

Among the proposed bylaw amendments are the inclusion of voice writers into the Association as well as a change to the bylaw amendment procedure. A threshold reduction for affiliated units is also under consideration, as is a change to the membership privileges for CLVS holders.
