Making an impact
In May NCRF and Stenograph announced the first 2025 scholarship recipient, Louis Markowitz of New York City, a student at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C).
“I already really love being a part of this community. This gives me so much motivation to go home and practice on my machine,” said Markowitz in May. “Not only does this support bolster me as I continue to work to become a court reporter, but it also reaffirms my excitement to soon be part of this profession. I’m especially excited to start writing on the Luminex CSE.”
“This exciting opportunity is designed to support the growth of the court reporting industry and assist students on their path to joining the profession,” said Mark Kuczora, Stenograph Vice President of Marketing.
