Get to know your five voices in the June 30 session of NCRA’s leadership series

Want to know more about your five voices? Be sure to attend the third session in NCRA’s free five-part Leadership Development Series scheduled for June 30, 7:30-9 p.m. Eastern. The focus of this session will be “Discover Your Leadership Voice: Seeing the strengths in your natural voice.” Discussion topics include how to know yourself to lead yourself, learning more about your five voices, and the next steps in communicating with others.

Jesse Walker

The June 30 session marks the third in the series that kicked off in May and are being offered through Zoom. They are led by Jesse Walker of Intentional Leader Coaching, a leadership coach and consultant who believes all people deserve to thrive in life and that everyone wins when leaders grow. The first two sessions are available free to members now in the NCRA Learning Center.

Comments shared in surveys of attendees from the first two sessions echo the same theme: The sessions have gotten them thinking more about leadership and what it means. The biggest takeaways range from learning that leadership is how people experience you and how you show up for others, understanding how to pay attention to patterns to help create a strategy to becoming a leader, feeling a greater self-awareness, and gaining tactics to help make changes in yourself to better meet your goals. Many other respondents said they have also gained a greater understanding of how the habits, thoughts, and people we surround ourselves with have an impact on who we are and who we want to become.

The objective of the series is to help NCRA members make the move from leadership uncertainty to empowerment by laying the framework of what a leader is, challenging participants in their individual growth, and encouraging members toward deeper engagement with Association work.

The cost to attend the sessions is free to NCRA members. Each session also features breakout rooms for discussion and team-building activities. Attendees are strongly encouraged to attend all five of the sessions in order for continuity purposes.

All sessions will be recorded and made available in the NCRA Learning Center. Registration to attend the live sessions is open now, and you can register once for all sessions.

The full schedule for this five-part series is below. Sessions will run from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. Eastern.
