More closed-captioning glasses available in theaters

Regal theaters was equipping 6,000 of its theaters with closed-captioning glasses during the month of May, according to a May 10 article in the Los Angeles Times. Closed-captioning glasses allow deaf and hard-of-hearing patrons to view movies with captions side by side with patrons with normal hearing. Regal is the nation’s largest national movie theater chain.
