NCRA Board of Directors discusses programs, plans

The NCRA Board of Directors met Nov. 8 to discuss the current status of projects for the association and efforts to meet the charges set by the Vision 2018 Strategic Plan. Among the issues discussed were the progress of the public relations campaign, including; plans for the upcoming live events to be put on by the association; preliminary plans for pursuing affinity programs to benefit members; the roll-out plan for the online testing for certifications; and preliminary plans for NCRA’s advocacy and outreach plans on behalf of the profession. The group, including several guests, also brainstormed new ideas for NCRA, the profession, state associations, schools, and others and identified several new concepts, such as developing an Instagram account, and other ways to increase awareness of the profession.
