Registration is still open for NCRA’s Certified Reporting Instructor (CRI) program, a five-week, online course for current and aspiring court reporting educators. Space is limited, and only a few spots remain. The program runs Sept. 10–Oct. 14.
Led by experienced instructors Kelly R. Moranz, BS, CRI, Captioning and Court Reporting Assistant Professor at Cuyahoga Community College, Cleveland, Ohio, and Jennifer Sati, RMR, CRR, CRC, CRI, Program Director/Judicial Reporting & Captioning Programs at Anoka Technical College, Anoka, Minn., the curriculum covers proven teaching strategies, course development, and classroom management. Participants will also gain access to new educational concepts and ready-to-use materials to enhance their programs.
Participants earn 1.0 CEU and the CRI credential upon completion, joining a growing network of highly skilled court reporting educators who are preparing tomorrow’s practitioners.
The cost is $440 for NCRA members and $516 for nonmembers, plus a required $55 textbook available from the NCRA bookstore.
